Skate, Create & Connect with SOA Paris
About us ↓
SOA Paris is a nonprofit organization using Art & Skateboarding to uplift the wellbeing of our international community.
We empower underrepresented groups through mentorship, access to resources & strong community support. Through creative events, workshops & programs, SOA Paris celebrates skate culture while promoting self-care & mindfulness.
Did you know? Our team is mainly composed of women, non binary & neurodivergent individuals. Yes! We’re building a space where everyone feels seen, supported & inspired.

Good vibes & real changes!
In 2024, SOA Paris brought together over 1,500 people through 13 events.
We worked with 45 amazing artists & creative skaters, supported by 35 passionate volunteers. Note that our community is made up of 65% BIPOC & 70% women & queer individuals, & it keeps growing, with 80 new memberships last year.
We also teamed up with 15 local businesses, 15 grassroots groups & 8 skate-related companies & international NGOs. With €875 in seed grants distributed & €15,600 in funding received, we’re proud to keep creating inclusive spaces where Art, Skateboarding & Wellbeing come together.

Skateboarding Lifestyle Podcast
The Grip Skateboarding Podcast is SOA Paris’ lifestyle skateboarding podcast where culture, identity & creativity ride side by side. It gives the mic to skaters you don’t always hear from - especially women, queer folks, artists skaters & community builders reshaping the scene on their own terms.
We talk about first drops & self-doubt. Healing & hype. Art & activism. All through the voices of those living it. The Grip Skateboarding is a work still in progress. We’re currently in the testing phase. Still experimenting with formats, voices & flow. This is literally a DIY journey in motion made in collaboration with Sundries Productions & Pizza Raval Bar. Our dream team
Founder, President & General Project Manager of SOA Paris Nonprofit Organization. Jessy is a passionate organizer blending Art, Skateboarding & Wellbeing to create safer, more inclusive spaces. They lead the vision, community projects & international collaborations with heart & intention.
THEY/THEM

Retail expertise, photography, accounting, analytics, labor & commerce law, project management, team leadership, financial literacy, marketing & communication, community building & network growth
Pssst! Their favorite skills are in bold.
After earning their high school diploma in Administration & Accounting, Jessy went on to study Management, Administration & International Trade, completing a Bachelor’s degree & most of a Master’s (six months short, oopsie!). During that time, JJ (yep, that’s their nickname) started experimenting with their first camera. Fun fact: they still use that same old camera today, 12 years later!
"I believe creativity comes from the lack of resources & the will to create what we have in mind anyway. Possibilities are infinite but not everyone sees it. So, what can you do with what you have today & how will you get what you want for yourself tomorrow? Hustle & grind babe." — JJ
